What kind of food do they serve in this restaurant?
It’s an Italian restaurant that proposes typical dishes: pasta, salad, meat…
What do I recommend?
As we love mozzarella, we ordered a plate of tomatoes with mozzarella for 2 … Very delicious!
We also liked the pasta dishes: Spaghetti Polpette and Gnocchi Sorrentina, both perfect.
For dessert, the Crème Brûlée style cheesecake is a very good idea, it is delicious.
How is the Aria Wine Bar?
We loved the decoration, it mixes industrial features with traditional furniture.
There’s a large table in the middle and several tables for 2 people, and a large bar where you can sit and eat too.
What type of clientele usually goes to this restaurant?
We have not seen tourists, there were many locals.
How is the service?
Very good, the staff is very attentive.
Is it expensive?
We ordered an entry for 2, 2 pasta dishes, 2 desserts and 4 glasses of rosé wine and paid $ 85.
All pasta dishes have the same price, as well as salads and desserts.
Where is the restaurant?
We went at the Aria in West Village, 177 Perry St in New York.
The hours are from 11.00am to 10.30pm every day except Friday and Saturday from 11.00am to 11.00pm.
There is another restaurant in Hell’s Kitchen (369 W 51th St). It opens from 11.00am to 12.00am every day except Friday and Saturday from 11 am to 1am.
We highly recommend Aria Wine Bar. The food is delicious, and we won’t hesitate to return … if we go back to New York City! We miss the city a lot and can’t stop thinking about that. You’ll understand me 😉
