If you want to go to Staten Island, Long Island or Queens, you’ll find Ralph’s Italian Ices. It is mandatory to stop and taste one, two or maybe three of Ralph’s creations.
I can say, it is one of the best ices I ever tasted in New York.
The good tip: They are pretty cheap, fresh and delicious.
At the very beginning, there was only one Ralph’s Italian Ices in Long Island, after that, this little business has been growing up in NY: Staten Island (5 stores), Long Island (51 stores) Queens (3 stores) and New Jersey (14 stores).

Famous in the U.S. Jamba Juice is THE PLACE where to look for fresh fruit smoothies.
You can choose from dozens of different cocktails (alcohol free).
Fruits are fresh and very tasty. A really good plan if you are shopping in Century 21.
The company went into business 20 years ago in the U.S. and now there are 22 stores in NYC.
If the heat is too much that you can’t handle it, or you are just curious, or just an ice cream lover, go ahead and stop in every ice cream store. I know my list is not that long but, New York has more ice cream shops, it’s a big city (like I need to tell you) and there is more options to refresh yourself.
But hey! It’s always better to visit the best places.
