When travelling with a group of 4-5 people, we tend to think it’s easier to rent an apartment in New York City.
Yes and no… You may consider staying at the Best Western Plus Hospitality House, a few blocks away from Grand Central.

What type of hotel is the Best Western Plus Hospitality House?

This hotel has multiple advantages.
It is one of the few hotels in New York with bedrooms for families or groups of people from 4 to 6 people.
Its location in Midtown makes it very convenient.
The decoration is basic in the common spaces, but more modern in the rooms.
Please note this hotel is accessible with a wheelchair.

How are the hotel rooms?

This hotel has 5 types of bedrooms.
Like any hotel in the city, it has rooms with double beds and an area of 247sq/f (23m2).
But it also has rooms between 800 sq/f (75) and 1130 sq/f (105 m2) with a living room and a sofa bed.

As I said, the decoration is simple but with modern furniture.

The beds are very comfortable. The sofa bed is not bad either.

In each room there is a closet, a television, a safe and a desk.

We had 2 rooms with King Size bed, a sofa bed in the living room, a kitchen with everything you need: oven, refrigerator, dishwasher ….

And it was a great surprise to find a basket with different products, a welcome gift from the hotel.

The bathroom is spacious and has enough hygiene products.

How much does it cost to stay at the Best Western Plus Hospitality House?

The rates vary a lot depending on the seasons of the year.
The room for 2 people costs between $170 and $220 per night.
For 4 people, it starts at $ 00.
For 6 people, the average is $330 dollars and even more during high season.

Where is the hotel?

The hotel is on 49th Street between Lexington and 3rd avenues in the Midtown East area.
You’ll be 5 minutes away from 5th avenue, from Grand Central Terminal, 10-15 minutes away from Bryant Park and Times Square.
In less than 5 minutes, you’ll get to several subway stations like the 6, E, M trains; and Grand Central.

Conclusion

Very well located in New York, the Best Western Plus Hospitality House is an option that you would have to contemplate if you are going to New York City with friends or family.
At this price, it is impossible to find such a spacious place in Manhattan and it is much safer than renting an apartment.
