Come and have a breakfast at Amy’s Bread bakery

Amy’s Bread

Here’s a great address and a good tip to have a breakfast in New York City at Amy’s Bread bakery.
I tested the Chelsea Market location but additional locations are available in the city like in Hell’s Kitchen.
It’s a delight, not to be missed!!!

A little history about Amy’s Bread

The founder and owner, Amy Scherber, comes from Minneapolis (Minnesota). Amy majored in economy and psychology and after 3 years of working in a marketing company, she decided to change path into baking and cooking.
In 1992, she opened her first bakery and right away it became a success story. She then earned a number of prizes and developed her concept with 2 additional bakeries in New York. Now there are 7 places in New York where you can enjoy Amy’s pastries.

What about Amy’s Bread’s products?

The bakery offers a number of pastries for breakfast, and dinner including snack time.
At Amy’s you’ll find:
– A great variety of breads including the famous “I Love NY” one:

– American cakes and pastries:

– Beverages and cookies:

– Cereals and fresh juices:

– Desserts like cupcakes, muffins, scones, morning pastries and more.

Amy’s Bread also offers breakfast menu.
As a matter of fact, I strongly advise you to order a freshly squeezed orange juice and a hot beverage before tasting her local specialties like Sticky Buns (a maple syrup and pecan brioche), red fruits scones and other very chocolaty and yummy treats 🙂

  1. Michelle Ryan says:
Was this in Seinfeld? You can see the sign Amy’s on the street near their usual cafe. It’s in the Pez Dispenser pianist, intervention episode.
But the inside of the bakery seems to be in another episode.
