Since 1984, the city of New York honors the US Navy and Marine Corps, called “Fleet Week”. The week proposes military demonstrations and the chance for the public to attend and visit the ships. The day of remembrances takes place on Memorial Day  and is the highlight of the week of a festivities that include: Chorus, Air Force shows to honor those who fell for the US.
