Gourmet Guild, a trendy, natural, hipster and delicious restaurant/store – A NYCTT from Elodie

I will like to share my experience in NYC with this store located in Brooklyn, Williamsburg. I love New York, but I did not know Brooklyn well. At the end I discover a unique place, a lovely place.

It is a mix of everything: A coffee shop, snacks, gourmet store and soon they will be organizing special nights based on products from around the world.

Where is Gourmet Guild?

It is in Williamsburg, in Brooklyn, 110 Broadway Brooklyn, NY, 11249.

The closest Metro station is Marcy’s (pretty close to Williamsburg Bridge).

What can you eat at Gourmet Guild?

You can just have a cup of coffee, have a snack or a delicious cookie. They also offer breakfast, you can just look around the store and buy some gourmet souvenirs too.

Their bakery is something you have to taste. Everything is made and cooked on the same day and with high quality products.

I really liked the ‘’Doughnuts holes’’.

You can follow them in Facebook and Instagram.

How is the service?

Steve is the attendant in the store. He and the other employees are very nice people. Actually New Yorkers are nice people… But they are nicer than the average.

Steve told me the store history, and explained to me its concept too.

He also gave me some advices on visiting Brooklyn.

He is a lovely person.

How are the prices on the Menu?

They are Williamsburg prices, and homemade food prices, let me explain it to you: A little bit more expensive if you compare to any fast food chain. But taste so much better.

Having a coffee and a cookie will cost about 7USD.

Conclusion

The store is worth a visit. It is located in a typical Brooklyn’s neighborhood, with hipsters everywhere. But it’s a peaceful place, away from the New York chaos.
