If you’re looking for a classy hotel in New York City, well located, with high-quality services and comfort, you should book at the Radisson Martinique on Broadway.

History of the Hotel Radisson Martinique on Broadway

At the end of the 19th century, everyone went to Broadway to visit its shops, restaurants, to go out and have fun. It is in this environment that the Martinique Hotel opened in 1900, with a Beaux-Arts style.
In 1910 they built more rooms, a grand entrance and added a spiral staircase of 18 floors. The Hotel Martinique is one of the oldest in the city of New York.

Another key moment in the history of the hotel is the creation of the Professional Golfers' Association of America. The hotel hosted the first meeting and the first election of the association. Today, the PGA headquarters are still located in the hotel.

What are the amenities of Radisson Martinique on Broadway?

The hotel has about 600 rooms and over 18 floors.
It has many facilities as restaurant, bar, breakfast, fitness room, laundry service..) but in my opinion, its decor is what makes it stand apart from other places.

In the hallways, they placed antiques like this phone:

The decor is modern and classic at the same time, as you can see in this picture of the 18th floor:

Where is the Martique Radisson on Broadway in New York?

It is perfectly located at the corner of Herald Square, in the middle of one of the most popular areas for shopping, about 1300 feet from the Empire State Building, about 1600 feet from Madison Square Garden and Times Square is about half a mile away.
In addition, there is a subway station close to the hotel!
You won’t find a more centrally-located hotel than this one ... the only problem is that it is a crowded area, therefore a little bit noisy.
However the double-glazed windows provide an excellent sound insulation in the room.
Address: 49 W 32nd St, New York, NY.

Conclusion

What else is there to say about this hotel, that I really liked, both for its decor and its location.
Depending on the season of your stay in New York, this hotel can be a good choice because it is very comfortable and clean, perfect for relaxing after a long day out on the streets of NY.
You will appreciate being so close to the stores area (34th street, Macy’s), going back and forth between the shops and your room.
In short, it is a perfect hotel in New York. And don't miss the opportunity to eat at its restaurant, Petit Poulet!
