All the information about Hurricane ”Joaquin”

Everyone remembers the storm that devastated the city of New York on October 2012, named Sandy.

According to the National Hurricane Center in Miami, there is another storm forming in the Bahamas named Joaquin with winds up to 120km/h.

Its taking the same route that Sandy took, it was in the Bahamas on Wednesday September 30^th and its heading towards the east coast of the United States, it will probably be getting to New York on Monday October 5^th.

Update Wednesday 09/30: Strong winds may reach the east coast of the United States and New York on Monday October 5^th.

Update Thursday 10/01 at 5:00am (London time). The storm Joaquin is located east of the Bahamas. It will be heading north on Friday and reach the east coast of the United States this weekend and the beginning of next week. The direction is which the storm is heading is still not certain.

Update Thursday 10/01 at 11:00 am (London time). The storm’s route is changing and might reach New York on Tuesday.

Update Friday 10/2  7:00 am (London time). The storm route is changing from the east coast 🙂 It might be some wind but nothing to worry about.

Update Friday 10/02 8.00pm (London Time). Well, it’s almost 100% confirmed, Joaquin’s route is heading to the East, New York will be left alone by the hurricane 😀

What to do in the mean time?

There is still a chance that the storm will take a different route so there is not much to worry about yet. I am still going to head to New York on Tuesday October 6^th and I hope to see you all there as well.
