Ice Rink at the Rockefeller Center
It’s one of the most notorious ice rinks in New York since it’s ideally located in the heart of Manhattan and at the foot of the Top of the Rock, right below the Christmas tree. The great tip is to go skating during the Christmas holidays, hand in hand with your loved one, just like in the movies!!!
The ice skating rink opens on October 21, and will be open every day through April 2024.
The entrance is a bit pricey depending on the hours and dates, and the place is extremely popular. It’s best to come early in the morning and to avoid weekends:
– Adults: starting at $21
– Child (ages 6 to 12): starting at $21
– Toddlers (ages 5 and under): starting at $11
– Skate rental: $11

Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park
Open daily from October 27, 2023, until March 3, 2024, the Bryant Park ice skating rink is great location, close by the Bryant Park Christmas market which you must visit during your stay.
The entrance is free but the skate rentals cost starts at $18 depending on the days of the week. Bag check is $5.

Ice Skating in Central Park: Wollman Rink
The Central Park ice skating rink offers great surroundings to skate to music in the middle of the park surrounded by NYC skyscrapers. It’s one of the most functional spaces since it’s a giant ice rink.
And frankly, there’s nothing more romantic than to enjoy an ice skating session hand in hand with your loved one in the heart of the city!!! I’m sure you must have seen movies with that particular scene (often called girly movies!! :)). And so, this will be your chance to shine on that day :).
The rink opens on October 28, 2023, until March 15, 2024:
– Monday & Tuesday: 10:00 am-2:30 pm
– Wednesday & Thursday: 10:00 am-10:00 pm
– Friday & Saturday: 10:00 am-11:00 pm
– Sunday: 10:00 am-9:00 pm

Glide at Brooklyn Bridge Park
There’s finally an ice rink by the Brooklyn Bridge! Enjoy you session with the New York’ Skyline in the background.
The ice rink opens on November 15, 2023, until March 1, 2024, everyday from 10.00am to 9.45pm.
The entrance fee starts at $15 for 50 minutes + $12 for the skate rentals.

The Rink at Brookfield Place
Brookfield Place is a luxury mall located near the One World Observatory. The ice rink offers stunning vistas from the Hudson River!
The ice rink opens from mid-November, 2023, until March 2024:
– Monday – Friday, 2pm – 9.15pm
– Saturday and Sunday, 9.00am – 9.15pm
The admission is $17 (60 minutes) and $5 for skate rentals.

Chelsea Piers Ice Skating
Chelsea Piers is the perfect spot for sports lovers. There’s always something to practice: golf, tennis, baseball… And during winter, you can go ice skating!
It’s open everyday but Wednesday from mid-October, 2023, until January 5, 2024. Opening hours change everyday, so log in the official website to check the schedules.
The admission starts at $20 and $10 for skate rentals.
