5th Avenue is the showcase of the big brands. If it is known for its luxury stores, sports are starting to take more and more place too. If you’ve already visited Adidas, Nike or the NBA Store, stop by the PUMA store.
What is the store like?
PUMA Flagship Store opened in 2019 on a corner of 5th Avenue, offering an unprecedented 60,000 square feet of space spread over two floors. It’s hard to walk by without seeing it!
The store is part of this same basic modern design with concrete on the floor, white walls, and exposed piping.
The space seems huge, mainly thanks to a platform that could almost make you dizzy because it looks suspended between the ground floor and the first floor.
What to find at the PUMA store?
The store is divided into collections. First of all, on your right, you will find the Puma NYC Exclusives. Whether you’re a fan of the brand or a fan of the city, I’m afraid that some of you will be tempted to bring back some souvenirs!
It is also where you’ll find the kids’ collection and classic PUMA clothing.
You should know that the mirrors are equipped with a system to automatically change the clothes’ color and see the other products. I couldn’t test it because someone was using it, but it looks great (on the left in the following picture).
Upstairs, you will have the opportunity to customize your purchases at PUMA X YOU. New artists come into the store regularly to create never-seen-before designs with laser, embroidery, and paint… The possibilities are practically endless!
One part of the store is also dedicated to collaborations with other brands, PUMA SELECT. I believe that this changes quite often, with Von Dutch on the day of my visit.
What sports are featured at the Puma Flagship Store?
Then the different sports each have their corner, like basketball,
Golf,
Soccer,
Running, with treadmills, so that you can try the sneakers,
F1. And here, this space will delight the fans. They have installed a simulator identical to the one used by Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen to train! The difference is that the store’s simulator allows you to race wildly through the streets of New York!

Conclusion
It’s not necessarily a must-do in New York City. However, I especially liked the New York Exclusives, with a great choice of designs.
