What you must take into consideration.

During high season (summer, December, special dates), the prices of the housing in New York can triple or more the prices during low season. Try to check as soon as possible the prices on the Internet and book when the price seems good for you!

Just to let you know, if you decide housing away from Manhattan, you will find lower prices.

My best tip is to look for a Hotel that offers you comfort (comfy bed, quiet and clean bathrooms) in Manhattan. There you can find lots of 2 stars hotels, like the Latham. Is not very expensive and is good for small budgets.

In this NYCTT article, I’m describing the different housing options in New York. You’ll find which one suits you 🙂

I let you compare the offers of the following websites. You can make combined reservations “Hotel+Flight” too and get better prices.
