Bareburger, the restaurant with organic burgers in Chelsea

I present you with a small little café located in the neighborhood of  Chelsea which I bumped  into by chance.
While looking at the menu posted outside the restaurant, right away, I knew that I will fall in love with it.

What’s the concept of Bareburger?

They offering 100% organic food (we call it “organic” here in New York) and organic drinks.
They were inspired by the “Slow Life” lifestyle which basically means that the food is local, organic and respect the natural resource rhythm of the planet.

How is the decor at Bareburger?

The interior decor is original and eclectic.
The restaurant is designed with wall bricks, with wood accents in natural tones; it really gives a feeling of coziness.

The restaurant also displays some funny objects of decoration as you can plainly see on the picture below.

What to expect in terms of food?

You choose your bread among 5 choices: Brioche Bun (the most popular and the one I ordered), Multi-grain Roll, Iceberg Lettuce Wrap, Wheat Flour Wrap, Tapioca Rice Bun (which is gluten-free ).

Then, you have the option to choose your meat between 7 choices knowing that you can order a Veggie Burger (vegetarian). You’ll notice that the meat choices are quite original such as buffalo, ostrich and more.

And finally, you have a choice of sauces and toppings to accommodate your burger.
There is whooping choices of burgers, 17 in total.
I chose the 1^st one: The California
Finally, you can choose your fries called here Fresh Cut French Fries (see below), fried onions, coleslaw, Caesar salad and other kind of sandwiches… but always 100% organic.

All soft drinks are 100% Natural.
We ordered a coke and a lemonade which were both excellent and had nothing to envy to major brands.

Originality even goes to further with water, ketchup and mustard containers 🙂

The Ceasar Salad was excellent with authentic sauce spiced with anchovies and garlic.
It’s not just regular lettuce but a real romaine salad. Very generous with parmesan, this “Ceasar Salad” is made with well cooked chicken: grilled and tender at the same time. It’s rare enough not to mention it.

My burger was very moist, very good and original since there were avocados in the burger. I have nothing to add, I enjoyed it very much.
The “home fries” were also excellent, especially since they were not frozen unlike other fast food chains like Mc Donalds.

It’s just a real good tip type of restaurant for either lunch or even dinner.

How’s the service at Bareburger?

The waiters are really friendly and would not hesitate to help you with your choice of bread or meat especially if it’s your first time it’s not easy to order wisely.

The good tip at Bareburger for kids:

Kid menu is adapted and available. A great tip indeed 🙂

The not so good tip at Bareburger:

My personal tip is to avoid taking any dessert here since it’s pricey (between $8and $12) and not as original as the rest.
