The Discovery Times Square is a center for temporary exhibitions. The exhibits are always very interactive, inviting you to participate and be part of the exhibition.
One of the exhibits that drew my attention is the Avengers one. I became a fan of the Avengers after the Marvel’s saga. I just went to the exhibition and wanted to share with you my experience.
I have no photos of the interior of the exhibition because it is forbidden to take pictures.

What is the Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. exhibition about?
I guess you know some of the Marvel superheroes like Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Hulk … Together, they are the Avengers. The Avengers were recruited by SHIELD, a spy agency for secret missions.
To help the Avengers, SHIELD is seeking people to lead other special missions. This program is called The AVENGERS S.T.A.T.I.O.N. (Scientific Training And Tactical Intelligence Operative Network).
When visiting the exhibition, you enter into this new recruitment program. More than an exhibition, you will have to complete some physical and mental tests, to see if you could be part of the superheroes elite.
How to visit the Avengers exhibition?
Before entering the Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N., you must register into the SHIELD program. There are some machines at the entrance that generate a personalized badge (with your name, and date of visit).
This credential will be required to complete the tests of the exhibition thanks to the QR Code printed.
After obtaining your credentials, you are authorized to enter the exhibition.
I won’t tell you much more, I’ll just say you may pass through several tests to compare your strength with Captain America for example, you will see the uniforms of the Avengers and SHIELD members…
You truly will have the impression of entering a secret location.
It is a very interactive exhibition with many games. I will inform you that some games are a little bit hard to understand.
How long does it take to visit the Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N.?
It depends on how many people are visiting and if you want to play every game. Let’s say that the most time that you can spend there is around hour and a half.
Now if you go with your kids, I guess it will take a little longer 😉
Who should visit that exhibition?
I recommend this exhibition to the real fans of the Marvel’s saga, both adults and children. If you do not like the marvel saga you won’t be entertained.
Children up to age 13-14 were happy with the different tests, some were very excited to be in a very special place.
What else can you do?
There is a shop at the end of the exhibition. It is where you can redeem your photo with the Avengers (taken at the beginning of the visit) and buy many Marvel related goods.
The photo and souvenirs are pricey, blindfold your kid’s eyes if you do not want to spend all your travel budget in the Marvel Store 😀
When can you visit the ehibition?
The exhibition will be open until May 31st, 2015.
Hours are:
– From Sunday to Tuesday from 10am to 7pm,
– From Wednesday to Thursday from 10am to 8pm,
– From Friday to Saturday from 10am to 9pm.
Please note that:
– December 24, they will be open from 11 am to 4pm,
– December 25 from 11am to 6pm,
– December 31, from 11am to 3pm,
– January 1st from 10am to 8pm.

How much does it cost?
Tickets are pricey, that’s why I only recommend it to Marvel fans:
– $ 27 for adults,
– $ 23.50 for seniors (over 65 years)
– $ 19.50 for children 3-11 years.
