Broadway In Bryant Park 2022: free shows, all summer

If you want to see a Broadway show when visiting New York, I suggest visiting Bryant Park every Thursday at noon.
Why? Because all shows are for free.
When? TBC for 2022.

 Are those Broadway shows legit?

Yes! And the best of all, you can see and enjoy the most famous Broadway’s shows like: Chicago, Stomp… and many others.

How’s the event?

The event takes place every Thursday between 12:30 to 13:30. In every session they perform 4 to 5 Broadway shows.
You will see just a little part from each musical show, (10 to 15 minutes per show). It is not too much, but it’s perfect to give you an idea of how a show in Broadway sounds like.

You may end up buying tickets for the show (or more) you liked most 😀

Is it really for free?

YES! It is a really good tip to enjoy New York for free. The only thing you have to do is to be there early to get a good seat.

There are some chairs in Bryant Park, or you can bring your own blanket to sit down in the park!

My tips to attend the shows

I recommend that you get there as early as possible to find a chair, I will say around 11:30.
And then, because the summer season is sweltering in New York, and knowing that shows start at 12:30, you should cover your head with a hat or an umbrella. Most important of all: don’t forget to bring WATER.
Another good tip, you can have a pic nic while watching the shows.
